On 15^th January 2013, in a debate on training in prisons, Lord Beecham encouraged the government to read PET’s Brain Cells research report.

On 23^rd October 2012, PET Patron Lord Rambsbotham, asked a parliamentary question about the new prison education contracts on behalf of PET.

On May 15 2012, research by the Prisoners Education Trust was mentioned in the House of Lords debate on the Queen's speech.
